"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6

We must remind ourselves that God holds the bigger picture.

I held tightly to this verse when I was faced with a decision to leave my place of employment. I knew what it meant to walk away from my pay-check. But I also knew I was not at peace there any longer. I read this word - "In all your ways, submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." I knew that meant whatever decision I made, regardless if it was right or wrong, God had the power to get me back on track.

That situation you are worried about has already been resolved in his eyes. If we lean in our own understanding - we are robbed of the beauty of the journey. In choosing to trust God, we can rest in his peace knowing that his plans are greater, more magnificent, and more amazing than we can ever ask, dream or imagine. He is more powerful and loving than we can ever understand.

{so let go my soul and trust in Him the waves and wind still know his name}

"God, you hold the key to my heart. You know my anxious thoughts and not only what worries me today, but what I will face tomorrow. God help me to hold tightly to your grace, forgiveness and love. Help me to understand that your power is greater than the mountain I am facing today. Make my paths straight from my mistakes and help me to walk in your light, as I hold fast to your word oh God. Thank you for being a good Father. You are glorious, everlasting, and have showed me what love truly is.

In Jesus name,
